Another Bird

I have been working on another funky bird.  I have no idea why I like these funny little birds.  I have several started.  This one is from The Silver Needle Circle of Friends club.  Yesterday I was watching a Flosstube video and Mama Joan has this one all done and it only took her two days!

Do you see I'm using a hoop?  I have found a kind of hoop that I like. The kind I like is old wood hoops with felt inside.  It is very light weight to hold in your hand.  I'm using overdyed linen that is a little floppy for stitching in hand.  So this hoop is perfect.

It is very cold outside today.  The groundhog says there is going to be six more weeks of winter.  Around here everybody knows there is another two months of winter - at least.

I forgot to show you the pin cushion I got.

Isn't it cute?  I have a thing for shoes too.

Talking about pin cushions, I decided the first thing I need to do about the table by my stitching chair is to sort things out. (My uncle said I should just throw everything on it away!  Horrors!) I need to make a pile of the pin cushions.  There are many and I don't use them very often.  I'm going to count them and show them to you.  Then I need to do something with them.  I don't know what to do with them yet.  I'm thinking.
