New Lessons

I was so thrilled to get some new lessons for Mermaid's Treasures.  I am very happy with how it is turning out.  It is always exciting to see what we will work on next.  So first up is the outlining of the shell: outside front, outside back, inside front and inside back.  Also the snail is outlined.  I'm am really having fun with this class.

I can't wait to actually fill in the shell.  One side has a mermaid and the other side is over one.  But I'm finding it hard to concentrate today as I am excited about my trip tomorrow.  There are some loose ends to tie up before I am ready to go.  I sent off the package to Claire.

I started a couple of new things.  I have a With My Needle pattern for a needleroll that I bought on ebay.  It looks easy.

I ran across it while I was looking for another With My Needle pattern that I may put on Buttons-A-Bounty.  I'm wondering if I can put the Mrs. Waddelow  needleroll pattern on Buttons-A-Bounty.  It may be a good size for it.  Still looking....

I also kitted up the rose needleroll and pinkeep from BluCobalto.  There are some mistakes in the chart. The key to the chart doesn't list some of the chart's figures.  Like, there is a heart on the chart, but what color do you make it?  It isn't listed in the floss key.  I looked on her site for chart corrections but didn't find anything.  I'll have to figure it out.  There are three icons that need to be sorted out.

When you pay 19 dollars for a four page pattern chart, it ought to be right.

I'm gone for a few days to the retreat at the Silver Needle.  I can't wait to meet my BFF and go shopping.
I'll tell you all about it when I get back.
