I had a great day yesterday! My friend Terry and I went to a stitching class with our guild, Kindred Spirits Sampler Guild. Ellen Chester was teaching a project especially designed for our guild. I was so attracted to this project because of the beautiful Tiger's Eye Maple carrier.
It turned out to be a good size wooden box, bigger than I imagined. When you see the project in person, it always looks even better than in a small picture on the internet. I hadn't even realized that there was a needleroll small included. I had never had a class with Ellen before and I was so impressed with her as a teacher. She kept us on track showing us new stitches. Her video display was easy to see even from the back of the room.
We worked on the pin cube. I am thrilled that I got one side of it all done. She had a trunk show and I got just a little bit of stash.
Our guild always gives each attendee a small gift. This is what I got:
For a stitcher, there just isn't anything better than a great class!
