Celebrate

Today is our anniversary.  43 years.  That's a loooong time!  We're going out to eat tonight and I got some flowers.  Very Nice.

I didn't get too much done stitching-wise yesterday.  I spent a lot of time trying to figure out where to start the second side's leaves and branch.  It just wasn't matching up.  I finally worked it out (I hope).  I got one thistle almost all done.  I want to get a couple of shamrocks done today.

Then I decided to start over on the pinkeep.  I want to try out my plan for the edging.  So far, so good.  The real test will be when I go to put it together.

I was reading a bit yesterday.  200 pages to go on The Girl On the Train.  This is an uncomfortable read.  I wish I could identify more with the main character but she is a drunk and I want to tell her "Just stop!"   And yet I am kind of like her but with food instead of alcohol.  I'm forever falling off the wagon.
Talking about falling off the wagon, I ordered a couple of market things from Elegant Stitch.  Just small things.  Just cute things.  I wonder how long before they get here?
