One of Six

 I started a new project. It is the Holbein Hexagon Etui by Betsy Morgan.  It is in her book Willing Hands 2. 

I’ve wanted to start it ever since I got the book but I didn’t have all the called for threads. Unfortunately it calls for nine colors of Gloriana silk thread which is very hard to find these days. I entered a giveaway a few years ago and won old Gloriana thread cards that have about a yard of a lot of Gloriana colors. They have certainly come in handy. But they don’t have any of the newer colors. 

So I had to substitute colors. This is the first of six side panels.

It is coming along nicely. 

I got in over 6,000 steps yesterday. It was so warm in the afternoon that I decided to walk outdoors even though I walked inside already. But now it is back to cold again. It is just like March to tease us with warm weather.
