Gift Parade

 The gift parade continues with another kit. The influencer for this kit was Mary Corbet. I saw one of Mary's giveaways for Christmas and looked at the link to the website for Di Nikerk from South Africa. I saw a pretty needlebook kit and ordered it. I wondered if it would get here by Christmas since it had to come from half way around the world. But yes, it made it.

With this kit, the design is printed on the fabric and you embellish the design with silk ribbon and embroidery.  I have a couple of kits from Jenny Bee for a kit similar to this that has been languishing for a couple of years.

There are a lot of parts to this kit. I was delighted that the kit had the threads all sorted and labeled with their symbol. No guessing needed. 

Regarding my cherries kit, Catherine asked who the flosstuber was that inspired me. Her name is Theresa Craig and she is in Australia. She hadn't posted in quite a while but I enjoy her videos. She started an online store so she'll probably be too busy to make many flosstube videos.

I'm glad to have made it through all the holidays. I'm anxious to get back to a more regular schedule. Wish it was warmer!
