Stash Aquisition

I played hookey with this blog yesterday.  I went with BFF#2 to House of Stitches.  Fun!  It was good to catch up on things and hear about the retreat BFF#2 just went to.  When we got to House of Stitches a group had just arrived from Indianapolis.  So the shop was pretty full.  House always has nifty little things and all the regular stuff.  I didn't have a list of things I needed so I was just looking for fun things.  And I found some!
Here is a bird waxer that was just adorable.
I am a sucker for most anything blue and white.  So I got one of those micro cleaning cloths.
BFF got one of these so I had to too.  There was an Erica Michaels' trunk show and this was so pretty made up.
I have been looking for this Drawn Thread chart for a few months and was delighted to find it.
I bought all the Coloris floss when I was at Stitching Bits and Bobs a few weeks ago.  I wanted the books that go with them and I found one at House.
There is still another book for Coloris that I want but I think it is only in Italian.

Aren't those sweet?
Then I got just a few threads and some floss rings.
Across the street from House of Stitches is a store called "Fine Chocolates".  We had to check that out.
Yum!
We had lunch at T-Berry's, a diner in downtown La Porte.  They make their own noodles and chicken noodle soup.  Very good.  I ate too much.
It was a fun day and the day went soooo fast.
I have to show you my progress on Diligence tomorrow.
