Auditioning

I got Evan's name pillow all stitched!  I like how it turned out.

So now I have to finish it into a pillow.  I auditioned several fabrics.
This is the fabric I wanted to finish it with:

But somehow, it just doesn't do anything for me.
So I tried some other fabrics from stash.

I like this fabric but it won't go with his room very well.
I also like these but again they won't go very well with the style of his room.

I know, this is not very exciting but it will match his quilt and this blue doesn't distract from the name.  I'll finish sewing up the pillow today (I hope).  I need more stuffing.  Maybe I'll go to the store tomorrow.
It is a lovely day for walking.  Half of July is gone??  How can that be?
