Mermaid Pockets

I got all the sections of Mermaid Treasures basted.  One piece of the linen is taller than I am!

 So on to the next lesson which is the pockets for the clamshell.  I've got the pockets backstitched and now I am backstitching a bunch of little fins.

Next I get to do the fish.  I love fish.  That will be fun.  If everything goes well, I can start the stitching of the mermaids on the pockets.  This is such a cool project.  Amy Mitten is an amazing teacher and designer.  I'm so lucky to be taking this class.  I know it doesn't look like much right now but here is my progress:
