New Kit

 When I saw this project on the front of the new Passion for Needlework-III, I was not drawn to it. But the project grew on me. I gave in and ordered the kit. It came on Sunday. 

There is just one color of variegated DMC floss.  I thought maybe the linen would be green but it isn't.

I'll have to look at the directions as the background looks filled in with a green floss.

I bought a bunch of Oliver Twist thread from Jenny Adin Christie and would like to try using some on this project. 

This looks like a fun exercise in colored blackwork.
