I wanted to know if the Oliver Twist thread would work for the colored blackwork pear kit. So I read the directions for the pear. I decided to try one of the panels.  the pear has six sides each with a different blackwork pattern. The directions say to use tissue paper as a pattern.  I'm doing it my own way. I sewed a line around the section and started the pattern. 

 I like how the pattern is looking.  There is a lot of texture and a nice change of color. I am tempted to do each section in a slightly different color or to alternate panels.

We voted about a month ago and hope for a good outcome.
