Gorgeous Day

It is a gorgeous day outside.  Perfect temperature, light breeze.  My bathrooms are clean and I've been to the grocery store so that I can make meatballs tonight.  Now to think about stitching.

I am tantilizingly close to finishing the Second Bookmark.  That confetti stitching takes forever.  The Second Bookmark is a bit longer than the first one.

 I found some pearl cotton to do the border weaving in.  It was expensive but it is hard to find overdyed pearl cotton.

I got nearly two more small motifs done on Mute But Not Silent.

I tried some overdyed thread on the border of the Stitching Chair Necessaire.  You can't really tell in this photo but the greens go together fine.  I like it and I may sprinkle a few little pink buds in it too.

Next stop on the casket design is to trace with a pen the flowery design and find an "A" that I like that fits in the center.  I am thinking of just trying out some embroidery on 40 ct. linen to see how it looks.  I prefer cross stitch but I'm willing to give this a try.  We get the templates for the casket tomorrow.
