It is a perfect day outside. We had such a good dinner out last night at a new restaurant. It is just around the corner. I hope we go there again. DH likes it because it has lots of craft brews. I loved the molten lava cake. Yum.
I am getting ready to go on my retreat trip. I kitted up two projects to take with me, the Groom Mouse and the Just Nan limited editon scissors roll.
Speaking of mice, I finished the Reindeer Mouse off yesterday, antlers and all. He is supposed to have "reins" but I left those off.
I started the next row of Mistress L.
Then I got the itch to start something new. I saw an old Prairie Schooler design on a blog and just loved it. So I went digging to see if I had it. I made a big pile of all the Prairie Schoolers I have. No luck. I'm still looking for Spring Samplers #60. I like the part where the sun is peeking out of the clouds. It reminds me of the Mermaid Tapestry. Wow, that is something I should go back and work on. How long has that one been neglected?
The hair cut turned out fine. What a luxury it is to have someone wash your hair! Now I won't look like a homeless person when I go to Arizona.
