What If

What if someone sent you a pair of socks and said to decorate them any way you want?  What would you do?  Than is my dilemma.  Along with the pre-stitching for the retreat in June came a pair of socks.

I've been thinking what technique would be best?  Embroidery?  A stumpwork slip butterfly stitched onto the socks? How about a tiptoe through the tulips theme?  Looking through Pinterest yields a ton of ideas.  I'm still thinking about it.  By the way, this is a contest too.  The socks will be voted on.  You shouldn't tell a competitive person that.

I made a big mistake.  I made that v-shaped vine red but it was supposed to be purple.  So I made the big flower purple instead of the called-for red.  I thinks it looks okay.

It is a nice day.  Fifty degrees when I went walking.  Wonderful.
