More Snow

We are getting more snow.  It never seems to end.  ARGH.  DH is out shoveling the driveway - again.  I didn't go to exercise class.  But I got out my trusty step and stepped for an hour.  I still have some more to go but I'll do that this afternoon.

I tried restarting lawn #2 on Hampton Court.   I'm a bit frustrated as the thread catches and snags on my fingers.  It also broke.  I am tempted to try a different thread.  I'm having a hard time seeing the lines too.

 I want to put in a few threads to help me keep the angle correct.

I finished the back of Summer Flowers.  Now on to the flap.  I bet if I concentrated on this today, I could finish it.

Confession.  I ordered a sampler pattern and silks to stitch it with.  I have too many things to do already, I should not order anything more!  But I did.  It is AW 1662 by The Scarlet Letter.  I saw it several times as people were stitching it on Nicola's Scarlet Letter Year's blog.  I liked the colors.  I find that color makes a big difference to me.  I can't help but respond to color.  That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

I worked a bit on the ebay Amy Mitten Tudor Rose sampler.  It is starting to take shape.  Maybe I'm becoming a sampler person.
